Innovators Of Humorcore Come To The Masquerade

Innovators Of Humorcore Come To The MasqueradeBy Josh Fritz. Wednesday, June 23rd at the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia was a haven for humorcore enthusiasts. There were three bands scheduled to play and they all came through in the end. Some better then others, but everybody was doing what they loved. What started out as a hot and sunny day turned into something out of a weather horror story. While the sun was shining bright, a torrential downpour came through, soaking everybody to the bone. Nobody could get inside quick enough.

June Interview With Psychostick

PsychosticBy Josh Fritz. Last night at the Masquerade, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Rawb and Joshy from Psychostick. Very amicable gentlemen, very welcoming and as soon as I sat down, I realized and was rather grateful that they had obviously not let their success go to their head. A hardcore punk show was getting started and the audience was ready to burn some of the energy that they had burning inside of them. The Street Dogs were headlining the show, with the billed guests listed as Radio Nowhere, Stigma and Roger Miret & The Disasters. There were also

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

By Josh Fritz. This past weekend, there were a slew of art and photo shows, but only a handful of them were recent graduates from Savannah College of Art and Design. In Atlantic Station, taking over the former location of Chaplins, Jennifer Hope Jacoby had her first photo show. Ten photos adorned the walls, each of them had a phone number beneath them and a stop number included. When one dialed the number and entered the stop number, the subject of the picture spoke a thousand words about themselves.
